In December 2006, Jellyvision revamped the website youdontknowjack.com from its prior state as a catalogue for past You Don't Know Jack games, and began releasing self-contained DisOrDat questions (dubbed Daily DisOrDat) on every weekday from Monday through Friday, in which the host would oftentimes first refer to a recent curious and/or absurd news story and then pose a single DisOrDat question themed after said story.
Starting from March 2007, a full seven-question episode, each containing a DisOrDat, was posted to the website every Monday, replacing that day's Daily DisOrDat. Initially, these episodes were posted alongside the usual run of content, but on May 16 2008, the final Daily DisOrDat was released; the weekly episodes switched to a twice-a-week schedule at that time (one on Monday, one on Friday). Over the course of one year, a total of 100 full episodes was released. The backlog was kept online for a while, but was eventually removed at the end of 2010 to make room for the YDKJ 2011 reboot as a full-fledged commercial game.
The Jack Attack background got a major redesign in this installment, as it is no longer a dark fog, but instead, it is now a swirling portal. Starting with this game, the new design became standard for You Don’t Know Jack games.
The weekly episodes were preserved in the Internet Archive by user denzquix and subsequently became part of the Flashpoint Archive, where they can still be played today. Unfortunately, the Daily DisOrDats must today be considered lost media, as no archive containing any of their data - completely or partially - has been found to date.
For the weekly episodes, there are 7 questions in a game, of which question 3 will be a DisOrDat, and question 7 the Jack Attack.
