Jackbox Games announced The Jackbox Party Pack 7 at the PAX East 2020 Video Game Convention on February 29, 2020. On the same day, the first game was announced – Quiplash 3. The second game is The Devils and the Details. On June 23, the third game was announced – Champ'd Up. On July 3, the fourth game was announced – Talking Points. And the fifth, last game is a Blather 'Round. The game was released on October 15, 2020.
September 25, 2022, the soundtrack was released on Bandcamp. The game was released on October 15, 2022.

- All games have the function of reading the room code.
- Content moderation has been introduced in three out of 5 games. Moderators who know a special 5-digit code can visit the site https://mod.jackbox.tv/ and view the text, drawings and other content sent by the players.
- In the main menu settings, you can now change not only the overall volume, but also the volume of the presenter, effects and music. This setting applies to all 5 games.
