Roomerang is the first game to be announced for The Jackbox Party Pack 9, having been announced on February 18, 2022. The game of responding to prompts, role-playing, and whatever level of competition you bring to the table. Players in a reality TV show world are encouraged to answer prompts through their game personas, to gain status and avoid elimination.
Gameplay[]

Players start out with 5 points and will answer the prompts given to them. They are also given a character description (Ex: Likes Smoothies) Throughout each round, the other players (and audience) will vote on which answers they liked best; each player gets a point if their answer is voted.
The players then vote on who to eliminate and explain why (Ex: Tulips taste weird in smoothies), and the player with the most votes is eliminated. That player gets a few seconds to type in or say some parting words before the door slams on them. However, this player gets Roomeranged back in with a vowel letter swapped in their name, a clothing item, and a new character description (Ex: BROOKE gets changed to BReOKE with the description "Has Never Worn Shoes"). The next round continues with the newly-swapped player.
This goes on for five rounds. The first round is an introduction round, where each player answers a question about themselves. The second round is a connections round, where each player is paired up with another and must answer a question that relates to both. The third round is a quickie round, which is done anonymously. The fourth round is a firestarter round, where each player must pick another player and blame them for something. During the final round, the host will ask the group to vote for the player they think should win and the player they think shouldn't win! Players give their reasons, and they're all asked what the best conclusion for the round would be. After that, the points are tallied up and the winner is chosen! That person gets to make a victory speech before they're shown the door and the game ends.
