"I forget!"
- Old Man, You Don't Know Jack: 2015.
Old Man is a recurring character in the You Don't Know Jack series, as well as his appearances in other Jackbox Party Pack games, voiced by Andy Poland. The only time he has been physically shown is in Bomb Corp., that is prior to his PNG plane cameo in Tee K.O. 2.
Appearances[]
You Don't Know Jack (series)[]
Old Man made his debut in You Don't Know Jack Vol. 2 where he would take over from the host, Buzz, to punish the player for swearing using the Gibberish Question Easter Egg. Just like in the first You Don't Know Jack, he starts by taking away money and changing the player's name the first time; the second time he doesn't do anything; and the third time he shuts the game down. In later installments of the series, his role is mostly the same, although expanded upon to include the games' hosts and to be more exaggerated and comical.
In Headrush and You Don't Know Jack 2015, Old Man has his own question type where he is trying to remember something. In You Don't Know Jack: Full Stream, Old Man hosts his own post-game show called "Old Man's Memes" where he looks at memes on the Internet, albeit without a general understanding of what the meme is or what they even are to begin with.
Bomb Corp.[]
Old Man's role in Bomb Corp. is mostly for comic relief. After a task is completed without exploding, he will appear alongside the other characters and cheer. He may occasionally say something weird or funny, either afterward a task or in the break room. Day 14 is dedicated specifically to him, as it is his retirement day. However, halfway through the day, he has a heart attack and dies. He later comes back to life at the end of Day 15, although with no real context or explanation other than "isn't it more fun if I'm still alive at the end?"
Civic Doodle[]
Old Man plays the role of town mayor in Civic Doodle. According to the main host of the game, Old Man wants to turn the plain town walls of Doodle Valley into colorful art projects. Old Man assists in pointing out parts of Doodle Valley that he wants to have done up by the players, as well handing out bonus points based on a random emoticon.
Tee K.O. 2[]
Old Man appears as one of the possible pngs that can be seen flying in the plane during the t-shirt creation process.
Design[]
He is tall and skinny man, with a receding white hairline, bushy eyebrows, and a short but prominent beard on his face. He has navy blue eyes and pale skin, and a mouth that is always agape. He wears a matcha cream colored blazer with a white dress shirt underneath, accentuated with a black tie. He wears navy blue yoga pants [TalkshowExport 94080] {Bomb Corp.} with brown dress shoes. During Casual Friday, he's wearing almost nothing but his tighty whities, with brown UGG's.
Trivia[]
