Fakin' It All Night Long is one of the games featured in The Jackbox Naughty Pack.
Just like the original Fakin' It, players have the goal of finding the Faker amongst their room each question. Unlike the original, this game has both the addition of remote-play and character avatars for each person. All of the characters are in their swimwear in this game, unlike the original.
Avatars marked with an asterisk are original avatars returning from the original game.
The playable avatars are:
- Mr. Red*
- Mr. Orange*
- Mr. Yellow*
- Ms. Green*
- Ms. Purple*
- Ms. Blue*
- Nonbinary Person (Teal)
- Dawg Dawg (Pink)
- Robot (Maroon)
- Mayonnaise (Gray)
Gameplay[]
The game is played in four rounds, with the first three being selected by the players from a pool of five categories and the fourth being a special category called Text You Up. In each round, the players are given a secret task that they must complete except for one, who is simply told that they are the Faker. The Faker must try their best to blend in with the rest of the group or risk being found out. Each round consists of three tasks, and in most categories, players vote for the Faker after each task. This game differs from the original in that the Faker is told they are the Faker except for the final round. This game also no longer requires votes for the Faker to be unanimous, only requiring more than half the room voting for the same person to reach a consensus (ex. In a room of eight players, five votes are required to reach a majority). The categories are as follows.
Categories marked with an asterisk are original categories returning from the original game.
Hands of Truth*[]
Players are given a question that usually asks them whether or not they've done a certain thing and must raise their hand if the statement applies to them. In remote play, the players use their devices to make their on-screen characters raise their hands. When the game is played for the first time, Cookie automatically chooses this category as the first round.
You Gotta Point*[]
Players are given a question where the answer is another player and must point at the player they think best fits the question. In remote play, this involves selecting a player on your device.
Finger Blast*[]
Known as "Number Pressure" in the original game. Players are given a question where the answer is a number and must hold up a number of fingers for their answer, usually from zero to five (with the exception of one prompt that presumably only appears in in-person play that reads "Give everyone the middle finger. Because you're a bad boy!"). In remote play, players select a number of fingers for their on-screen character to hold up. (A small button on the bottom-right of the screen with a bird allows for you to give the middle finger.)
Thumb Shot[]
Players are asked three questions in a row with two possible answers. They then must give a thumbs-up or thumbs-down for each one with the thumbs-up representing one answer (Ex. "Smash") and the thumbs-down representing the other (Ex. "Pass"). Once everyone's answers have been revealed for all three prompts, players then vote for the Faker.
Emojional Damage*[]
Known as "Face Value" in the original game. Players are given a question that requires them to select an emoji. A search bar and list of emojis are presented on screen in remote play.
Text You Up*[]
Always the final round. Players are given three questions that they must write answers to via text. Everyone's answers for all three questions are shown, and players only vote once for the Faker after answers for the third question are shown. This is the only round where the Faker is not told they are the Faker.
Scoring[]
Players are awarded points after each round, depending on their performance. The player with the most points at the end of the game is the winner. The game also reveals the Best Faker (scored the most points as the Faker) and the Best Sleuth (scored the most points from choosing the Faker). The scoring is as follows:
- Sleuth Bonus (correctly selecting the Faker, regardless of whether anyone else did): starts at 100 points for the first correct guess, but increases by 25 with each subsequent correct guess (125 for the second and 150 for the third)
- Caught Bonus: If the majority correctly guesses the Faker, all players who voted correctly get a Sleuth Bonus plus five additional points. This bonus varies depending on how many tasks it takes the group to catch the Faker.
- If they catch the Faker on the first task, everyone who guessed correctly gets 375 points.
- If they catch the Faker on the second task, those guessing correctly for the first time get 250 points, and those guessing correctly the second time get 275 points.
- If they catch the Faker on the third task, the points are scaled the same way as a Sleuth bonus but with five points added (105 for those guessing correctly the first time, 130 for the second time, and 155 for the third time)
- Faker Bonus: The Faker gets points for avoiding getting selected by the majority. The points are the same as the Sleuth Bonus: 100 points for getting away the first time, 125 points for the second time, and 150 points if they make it through all three tasks without getting caught.
In Text You Up, players are still able to select which player they think is the Faker after the first and second questions without it being an official vote, so the same scoring still applies. In Thumb Shot, where there is only one vote, the Faker gets a 150-point Faker Bonus for getting away, non-Faker players get a 100-point Sleuth Bonus for correctly selecting the Faker when the Faker got away, and the majority can get a 150-point Caught Bonus for catching the Faker.

Credits theme[]
When I get up I'm always feelin' myself
I'm in control, a model of mental health
But by midday it starts getting tricky
I slow down, no time for a quickie
By dinnertime my libido's on a shelf
I don't know what's going on (pointing fingers)
I gotta act like I belong (doubts linger)
Time is short, the buzzer rings like a gong
And now you know I'm fakin' it all night long
The walls close in, I sense my sin's displayed
I must blend in but fear my bed is made
I can't stick out or look like a loner
I held up my hand--oops, what a boner
It's obvious my best plans are mislaid
The purple girl, the orange guy (they suspect me)
I blurt out my alibi (it won't protect me)
I'm laid bare, my every move is wrong
And now you know I'm fakin' it all night long
[instrumental]
All my friends are goin' strong (they must've eaten)
I'm a doofus in a thong (thoroughly beaten)
Maybe I should just move to Hong Kong
Now you know I'm fakin' it all night long
Now you know I'm fakin' it all night long
