Blather 'Round is the fifth and final game to be revealed for The Jackbox Party Pack 7. In this game, you write sentences to describe pop culture phenomena to your friends, but you never get quiiiiite the right words. If you did, it wouldn’t be a game! It would just be describing things.
Gameplay[]
In Blather 'Round, players take turns trying to describe a secret prompt. However, they only have a select few words to choose from and must put them together in a way that describes their prompt to the other players.
As players guess, the presenter can incorporate guesses into their hints as well, and the faster someone guesses, the more points the presenter and guesser will get!
Prompt and Sentence Making[]
At the start of each round, the players pick between three choices. One is labeled "easy" and gives fewer points than the other two, and all three can be reshuffled. (If a prompt is not chosen before time runs out, the game will autopick.)
After all prompts are selected, each player gets a choice of several Adjectives and Nouns to choose from to fill sentences like "It's a story about a BLANKY BLANK" and must give their first hint before the rounds start.
Guessing the Words[]
A person will be chosen as the Presenter, and they must convey their word(s) using the limited words given. The previously-made first is sent out and the Presenter must give more hints by putting together more sentences to hint players into guessing their word. Presenters can even incorporate other guesses into the hints, such as "It has the same vibe as BLANK" or "It is nothing like BLANK". This continues until time runs out, or the correct answer is made,
During round 2, the points are doubled. At the end of both rounds, the person with the most points wins.
